CASH STOLEN DURING BREAK AND ENTER AT RESTAURANT

(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) - On Thursday June 29, 2017 at approximately 3:30 a.m. The County of Wellington Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was dispatched to an entry alarm at a restaurant on Main Street North, Mount Forest.

Unknown suspect(s) smashed the glass front door, entered and stole a large quantity of cash from the Pizza Delight.

MALE ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH DRUG POSSESSION

(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) - On Tuesday July 4, 2017 at approximately 11:00 p.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report that a male was in possession of a quantity of marijuana on St Andrew Street East, Fergus.

Police attended and located the male. While speaking with the male, officers formed grounds that he was in possession of drugs. He was arrested and a subsequent search revealed he was in possession of marijuana.

19-year-old Steven Philip HARTUNG of Centre Wellington has been charged with Possession of Marijuana and Trafficking Marijuana contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA). He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on August 8, 2017.
