Speeder of the Week

(Guelph-Eramosa Twp, ON.) - On Monday September 28th, 2009 at about 6:12pm County of Wellington OPP officers were on Wellington Road 39 north of Guelph, monitoring traffic.

At this time Constable Steven Hunter of the County of Wellington OPP Traffic Management Unit spotted a southbound auto travelling well above the posted speed limit. The 2002 Buick Rendezvous was clocked on radar at 104 km/h in the 50 km/h zone.

Rhonda E. Schill aged 40 years of RR2 Palmerston has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle as well as Speeding under the Highway Traffic Act. Schill is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on October 21st, 2009 to answer to the charges.
