ARREST-Theft of Tractor trailer and 3-trailers-On November 9th, 2009 the Guelph Police responded to a business on Southgate Drive regarding a substantial theft of steel. Investigation revealed that sometime over the weekend a tractor trailer and 3 trailers loaded with steal were stolen from the business. The total theft of equipment and steel was estimated at $295,000.00.

On Tuesday the 10th of November 2009, Officers of the Guelph Police Service located the three tractor trailers and corresponding loads at a scrap yard in Kitchener.

The trailers with their contents were estimated at being worth approximately $295,000 and were returned to Telco Steel.

On the same date a damaged stolen transport tractor from the theft was located on Wellington Rd. 51. The transport tractor had and estimated value of approximately $30,000. The tractor was returned to the registered owner.

On Wednesday the 11th of November 2009, a 35 year old male from Waterloo was arrested in relation to this theft.

Michael Lambkin 35 years of Waterloo was arrested by the Guelph Police Service and charged with two counts of Theft over $5000.00 and Possession of Stolen Property. He was subsequently held for a Bail Hearing.
