TWO CHARGED FOR DRUG POSSESSION

(Elora, ON.) – On Wednesday, November 25th, 2009 at 10:04pm, officers from the O.P.P. Highway Safety Division and the County of Wellington O.P.P. conducted a R.I.D.E. spot-check on Wellington Road 7 in Elora. Officers stopped and investigated the occupants of a 1999 Oldsmobile. Investigation revealed that they were in possession of a large quantity of Cocaine.

A 17-year-old male from Kitchener, Ontario was arrested and faces charges of Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Failing to Comply with his Probation Order and several Highway Traffic Act offences. He is scheduled to appear in Youth Court in Guelph on January 13th, 2010 to answer to the charges.

An 18-year-old male from Kitchener, Ontario was arrested and faces a charge of Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on January 11th, 2010 to answer to the charge.
