Domestic Disturbance-Assault Police- Arrest-On November 27th, 2009 at 10:49pm Guelph Police responded to a disturbance involving four people at 89 Willow Rd Guelph. Through investigation it was discovered that the disturbance was between a young male and his girlfriend. While police attempted to calm the situation the males turned on the police officer and assaulted him. A short foot chase ensued and both males were taken into custody. One of the males was taken to GGH for medical assistance for a small cut to his hand from a beer bottle. The officer did not seek medical attention for his minor injuries.

A 16 year old Guelph male was charged with two counts of Assault and Assault Police and was held for a Bail Hearing.

A 19 year old Guelph male was charged with Assault Police, two counts of Breach OIC Undertaking and Breach Probation and was held for a Bail Hearing.
