(Puslinch Twp, ON.) -On Thursday April 1st, 2010 at about 12:14pm County of Wellington OPP officers were conducting radar enforcement on Highway 6 near Maltby Road, Puslinch Twp while monitoring the traffic in the area. At this time Constable Dan Milne spotted a northbound 2002 Toyota Rav4 travelling well above the speed limit. This auto was clocked on radar at 143 km/h in the 80 km/h zone.

Melkaye Gebreselassie Melka a 31 year old Kitchener man has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. The accused is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on May 19th, 2010 to answer to the charge.

(Puslinch Twp, ON.) -On Saturday April 3rd, 2010 at about 1:40pm County of Wellington OPP officers were on Wellington Road 32 near Travelled Road, Puslinch Twp monitoring the traffic. At this time Constable Adam Houser discovered an eastbound car travelling well above the speed limit. Police stopped the Nissan Altima as it was clocked on radar at 160 km/h in the 50 km/h zone.

Chadd Hatherley aged 20 of Cambridge has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle and Drive with No Currently Validated Permit contrary to the Highway Traffic Act as well as Fail to Surrender Insurance contrary to the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act. Hatherley is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on May 19th, 2010 to answer to the charges.
