(Mount Forest, ON) – On Monday, May 24th, 2010 at 10:21pm, officers from the County of Wellington O.P.P. were conducting a R.I.D.E. spot-check on Main Street in Mount Forest. Officers stopped a 1998 Chevrolet Venture van and the driver had been drinking. He was administered a roadside screening device test and failed.
Paul Trevor DESROCHES 45-years-old of Cambridge, Ontario was arrested and faces a charge of Driving with More than 80 mgs. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on August 9th, 2010 to answer to the charge

(Mount Forest, ON) – On Saturday, May 22nd, 2010 at 9:33pm, officers from the County of Wellington O.P.P. responded to a report of a possible impaired driver on Highway 6 north of Mount Forest. Officers located the vehicle, a 2000 Pontiac Montana, on Main Street in Mount Forest and the driver had been drinking.
Arthur Lawrence MAW 73-years-old of Elmvale, Ontario was arrested and faces charges of Impaired Driving and Driving with More than 80 mgs. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on June 28th, 2010 to answer to the charges.

(Palmerston, ON) – On Sunday, May 23rd, 2010 at 3:36am, officers from the County of Wellington O.P.P. responded to a residence in Palmerston regarding a report of a domestic disturbance. Investigation revealed that the victim, a 23-year-old female, was assaulted by her common-law spouse. Alcohol was a factor. No medical attention was required.
A 25-year-old male from Palmerston, Ontario was arrested and faces charges of Assault (2 counts). He was held in custody pending a video bail hearing on May 23rd, 2010.

(Arthur, ON) – On Tuesday, May 25th, 2010 at 4:16pm, officers from the County of Wellington O.P.P. responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on George Street in Arthur. Officers located the vehicle, a 1997 Toyota Camry, on Smith Street and investigated the occupants.
Investigation revealed that they were in possession of a quantity of counterfeit American $100.00 bills as well as merchandise from several businesses. All four parties were arrested.
James Christopher LOUVELLE 41-years-old of Mississauga, Lionel LATCHANA 49-years-old of Toronto, Angelia OLIVER 44-years-old of Brampton and Kenneth EDWARDS 48-years-old of Mississauga all face charges of Possession of Counterfeit Currency, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Uttering Counterfeit Currency (6 counts).
Louvelle and Latchana were held in custody pending a bail hearing in Guelph Court on May 26th, 2010. Oliver and Edwards were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on June 28th, 2010 to answer to the charges.
