(Fergus, ON) – The County of Wellington O.P.P. is seeking the public's assistance for an assault incident that occurred during the early morning hours on Sunday, July 4th, 2010. That assault occurred near the area of Templin Gardens located behind St. Andrew Street West in Town of Fergus. The victim was a 31-year-old male.
Members of Wellington County O.P.P. and the Wellington County O.P.P. Crime Unit have made and arrest. A 36-year-old male from Fergus, Ontario was arrested and faces a charge of Assault Causing Bodily Harm. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Guelph Court on July 8th, 2010.
The incident is under investigation. Investigators still seek assistance from the public.
