August 06, 2014 - Arboretum Walk: Science & Research
Time to learn about some discoveries made by scientists in The Arboretum, as well as their many ongoing projects. Cost is $2, children under 5 free. 7:00-8:30pm, starting at the Arboretum's J.C. Taylor Nature Centre.

August 06, 2014 - Historical Garden Flowers: Friends or Foes?
Feast on scones, fresh berries, McCrae Private Blend Tea, and a presentation by University of Guelph horticulturalist Rodger Tschanz. The show takes place at the Wellington County Museum & Archives, located on Wellington Road 18, between Fergus and Elora. Registration (free) starts at noon, show runs from 1:00-5:00pm, rain or shine. Admission is $5 per person, or $12.50 per family. Bring your own lawnchairs, and enjoy the charity BBQ.
