October 24, 2014 - Guelph Civic Museum Presents
Harpist Shannon Kingsbury at 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm at the Guelph Civic Museum, located at 52 Norfolk St. Admission to the Civic Museum on Fourth Fridays is free after 5 p.m. and visitors will have access to all our current exhibits. Refreshments will be served.

October 25, 2014 - 7th Annual Eden Mills Book Sale Plus
will take place on Saturday, October 25 from 9:30 am to 1 pm at the Eden Mills Community Hall. The used book sale raises funds for the benefit of the essential and beloved Eden Mills Community Hall.

October 25, 2014 - Festival of Moving Media Hosting
a pre-festival screening fundraiser on Saturday, October 25th, 7:30 p.m. at the Macdonald Stewart Art Centre located at 358 Gordon Street. Tickets for the pre-festival screening, which is not recommended for young audiences, will cost $15 at the door. Free parking will also be available.

October 26, 2014 - 5th Annual haloween Boonanza Presented by
the Kortright Hills Neighbourhood Group Pre Halloween Party, and invites the community to join us Sunday October 26th between 1pm and 4pm in the gym at Kortright Hills Public School 23 Ptarmigan Dr. Guelph. Everyone welcome to this free event.

October 26, 2014 - Lace in the Limelight Hosted by
Guelph Civic Museum features Cindy Rusak about the use of lace in the theatre on Sunday, October 26, 2014. Tea and cake will be served. The event starts at 1 pm with a tour of the exhibition, followed by the talk at 2 pm. Tickets can be purchased online at or by calling 519-836-1221.

October 28, 2014 - GCC Presents Business After 5
at the OLG Slots at Grand River Raceway on October 28. This fun-filled evening will include a tour of the facilities. Red Car Service will be providing a shuttle service from the Guelph Curling Club at 5:00 pm and 5:10 pm.

November 01, 2014 - Kortright Hills Neighbourhood Group presents
1th Annual Pumpkin Promenade on Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Mollison Park (behind KHPS). Drop off your carved pumpkins on Sat. Nov. 1st, between 3-6 pm, at KHNG Community Room. Come back at 6:30 to a marvelous display of pumpkins flickering in the night throughout Mollison Park. Suggested donation of $5/family.

November 02, 2014 - You Know How to Knit (a Bit): Now Become a Knitter
You’ll get a refresher on the basic stitches and lots of tips and tricks to build your confidence next time you step into a yarn shop. You’ll try some new techniques and be able to see and ask questions about a wide range of knitting projects. We’ll even start knitting a cowl together that will transition beautifully into winter.
