The Guelph Police Service is proud to announce that they will participate in the 'Be a Fan' Red Lace campaign - a joint initiative between Special Olympics and law enforcement throughout Canada on October 25, 2012. Please visit www.beafancanada.com for further details.
The "Be A Fan" campaign is a national awareness and fundraising initiative in support of the Special Olympics. This campaign is designed to raise awareness and support for this great cause by spreading the word and having participants wear red laces.
On October 25, 2012, members of the Guelph Police Service will sport red laces in their duty boots as they conduct their regular duties in support of Special Olympics. This day is meant to raise awareness to our dedication to providing communities with sport opportunities for individuals with an intellectual disability.
Please join us on Thursday October 25, 2012 at a charity BBQ in support of Special Olympics at the Guelph Parole office 117-255 Woodlawn Road West Guelph from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
