Drug Arrest
On Wednesday October 24, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., members of the Drug, Intelligence and CET Team
concluded an investigation into the illegal sale of psilocybin, which is better known as "magic mushrooms" with the arrest of a 21-year-old male. A search incident to arrest revealed that the male was in possession of a quantity of psilocybin with a street value of $140.
Curtis GREEN 21 years of no fixed address was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled
Substance and will appear in court in December.
Further investigation revealed he was the subject of warrants held by the Prince Edward County
OPP for Assault with a Weapon, four counts of Assault, two counts of Criminal Harassment,
four counts of Utter Death Threats and four counts of Breach Probation. He was arrested on the
strength of those warrants and transported to Prince Edward County where he was held for bail
hearing scheduled for October 25, 2012.

Fraud Search Warrant Executed- Arrest
In October 2012, a local business contacted the Guelph Police Service regarding unknown
persons making purchases online using stolen credit card data.
As a result of the investigation, Guelph Police with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police executed a search warrant at an address just west of the city.
A 34-year-old female was arrested for fraud-related offences. At the time of her arrest, she was found to be in the possession of a controlled substance and was charged accordingly.
This investigation into the fraud is ongoing.
A 34-year-old female was arrested for two counts of Unauthorized Use Of Credit Card, two
counts of Fraudulently Obtaining Food and Possession of a Controlled Substance. She will
appear in court in December.
