Assault – Arrest
On Thursday October 25, 2012 at 12:30 p.m., a male tried to entice another male to fight in the Bull Frog Mall parking lot, 380 Eramosa Road, Guelph. The 16-year-old Guelph male victim refused, a struggled ensued and the suspect brandished a "cleaver style" kitchen knife and threatened him.
The suspect then tried to force the victim in his car, but he sought refuge in a nearby store in the plaza. The suspect fled, and police were called.
Joshua MASON 20 years of Guelph was charged with Weapons Dangerous, Utter Threats and two
counts of Breach Probation. He was held for a Bail Hearing.

Motor Vehicle Collision
On Thursday October 25, 2012 at 3:04 p.m., Guelph Police and Emergency personnel responded
to a collision at the intersection of Gordon Street and Dean Avenue Guelph. Investigation
revealed that a red Dodge vehicle was stopped waiting to make a left turn into a private driveway when it was struck from behind by a black Jeep.
The two occupants of Dodge and the driver of the Jeep were transported to the hospital with
what were believed to be minor injuries. Both motor vehicles received extensive damages estimated at $20, 000. Gordon Street was closed for a short time so that emergency personnel could tend to the injured.
The driver of the black Jeep was subsequently charged with Careless Driving under the
Highway Traffic Act.

Concerned Citizen Calls Police – Arrest
On Friday October 26, 2012 at 3:00 a.m., Guelph Police received a call from a concerned citizen
regarding a possible impaired driver. The responsible vehicle was located and stopped on
Silvercreek Parkway Guelph. The driver was spoken to and an approved screening device was
used.
Kristopher EVANS 32 years of Guelph was charged with Drive Over 80 and will appear in
court in December.

Child Struck - Public Assistance requested
On Thursday October 25, 2012 at 3:40 p.m., an eight your old girl was struck by a motor vehicle
while she was trying to cross Victoria Road North at Hadati Road, Guelph.
The victim was transported to the hospital and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The responsible motor vehicle fled the scene and is described as an older model white
Oldsmobile with two baseball hats sitting in the rear window.
