Break and Enter – Arrests
On Friday October 26, 2012, the Guelph Police Service began an investigation into a break, enter and theft of a firearm in the south end of the City of Guelph.
On Sunday October 28, 2012, the Guelph Police concluded the investigation with the arrest of
two male adults and one male youth and the seizure of the stolen firearm.
A 20-year-old Guelph male, 28-Year-old Guelph male and 17-year-old Guelph male were
jointly charged with Break, Enter and Theft of a Firearm, Possession of a Weapon
Obtained by Crime, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Careless Storage of a Firearm
and Theft Under $5000.
The 17-year-old Guelph male was further charged with two counts of Breach Probation.
He will appear in court in November.
The 20-year-old Guelph male and 28-year-old Guelph male were held for a Bail Hearing.

Suspicious Person – Arrest
On Saturday October 27, 2012 at 2:04 a.m., Guelph Police responded to a report of a person
stealing copper wire at a construction site on Westmount Road Guelph. Upon arrival, the
officers located and arrested the suspect without incident.
Karen WESLEY 34 years of Guelph was charged with Break, Enter and Commit and
Possession of Break-in Instruments. She was held for a Bail Hearing.

Arrest – Drive Over 80
On Saturday October 27, 2012 at 5:13 a.m., Guelph Police received a call of a possible impaired
driver who had just left an address on Victoria Road North, Guelph. The responsible vehicle was
located a short time later, and the demand for the approved screening device was given to the
driver.
Christopher WALKER 32 years of Guelph was charged with Care and Control - Impaired
and Drive Over 80. He will appear in court in November.
