STORM DAMAGE MINIMAL
(BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – The Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to several calls of debris on the road. The South Bruce Peninsula, from Sauble Beach east to Hepworth, experienced an electrical outage that contributed to several alarm calls activated by the disruption of electricity.

The OPP would remind everyone that severe weather is to be taken seriously and that precautions, including a 72 hour emergency kit, should be part of your household emergency preparations.

2 VEHICLE CRASH CLOSES BRUCE COUNTY ROAD 20
(GREENOCK TWP, ON) – On October 31, 2012 at 7:21 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 2 vehicle crash at the intersection of Bruce County Road 20 and Bruce County Road 1 in Greenock Township.

Bruce County Road 20 has been closed from Side road 20 in Bruce Township to Concession 14 in Greenock Township for the safety of emergency responders.

The investigation is in its early stages. An update will be sent as more information becomes available.
