Guelph Police Investigate Robbery - November 02, 2012

On Thursday November 1, 2012 at 9:30 p.m., two unknown males knocked on a College Avenue West residence door asking for one of the tenants. The two masked males entered the residence, one brandishing a large machete style knife and the other a conducted energy weapon. The male victim was immediately forced to the ground.
Two other people in the residence at the time fled the scene and called for assistance from a neighbour who then chased the intruders. The suspects stole the victim's identification and fled the scene in a dark-coloured sedan last seen eastbound on College Avenue West, Guelph.
The 44-year-old Guelph male victim was taken to the Guelph General Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
Suspect #1 is described as male, white, in his 30s, approximately 5'11, slim to medium build, wearing dark clothing and a black balaclava type mask.
Suspect #2 is described as male, white, in his 30s, approximately 5'11, large build, wearing dark clothing and a black balaclava type mask.
