Hit and Run- Public Assistance Requested
Sometime overnight November 23, 2012 and November 24, 2012 a vehicle mounted a curb, striking a cable box and light standard at the intersection of Henderson Drive and Severn Drive, Guelph. The driver fled the area.

The vehicle is described as silver with damage to its right front corner, and it may also have damage to its right front tire and wheel.

The Guelph Police Service would like to speak to anyone who may have further information that may assist in this investigation. Robbery Arrest
On November 22, 2012 at 3:05 p.m., a female was walking on Wyndham Street North Guelph when she was approached by an unknown female who was yelling at her. The victim tried to walk away, and the suspect struck her several times in the head and stole her knapsack. The police were called, and suspect fled the area.

On November 23, 2012 at 3:25 p.m., the suspect was arrested without incident. L'Teshia BROWN 19 years of Guelph was charged with Robbery and will appear in court in December.


Impaired Driver Arrest
On Saturday November 24, 2012 at 6:42 p.m., a member of the Traffic Unit stopped a motor vehicle for speeding on Speedvale Avenue West, Guelph and arrested the driver for Impaired Driving.

Ronald RENNICK 78 years of Guelph was charged with Impaired Driving, Drive Over 80 and Speeding. The vehicle was seized for seven days, and the driver was issued a 90-day administrative driver's licence suspension.
