IMPAIRED DRIVER CHARGED
(CHATSWORTH, ON) On Sunday, November 25, 2012, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an erratic driver operating a Ford Freestar van on Hwy. 6 in the Township of Chatsworth.

Officers stopped the vehicle on Garafraxa Street in Chatsworth and found that the driver had been drinking alcohol.

Joshua Trevor KING, 34, of Hepworth, has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80 milligrams.

He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on Thursday, December 13, 2012.

PASSENGER CHARGED WITH OPEN LIQUOR AT RIDE CHECK

A passenger inside a vehicle that had stopped at the check point was found to be in possession of open liquor.

Tyler John WOLLIS, 24, of Wellington North, was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for having open liquor in other than a licensed premises, residence or private place under the Liquor Licence Act.
