Recall - 2012 Signature Collection Ornaments

Joint recall with Schurman Retail Group (California), Health Canada and the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC)involving the following 2012 Signature Collection ornaments, picture frames and tree.

Aspergillus mold was found on some of the items from this shipment. Adverse reactions, such as pulmonary aspergillosis, may occur in individuals with weakened immune systems or lung disease when exposed to aspergillus mold.

Consumers should immediately stop using the product, enclose the product in a plastic bag, and return it to the nearest Papyrus or Carlton Cards store, or Schurman Retail Group's Tennessee Distribution Center for a refund.

The recalled product was manufactured in the Phillippines by Idianale Inc/Dekokraft Inc. of Pasig City, Phillippines and distributed through Schurman Retail Group of Fairfield, California. The recalled products were sold from September 29, 2012 to November 21, 2012.

Approximately 5,807 of the recalled ornaments, frames and tree were sold at Papyrus and Carlton Cards stores across Canada. Approximately 10,450 of the recalled ornaments, frames and tree were sold at Papyrus and Carlton Cards stores across the United States.

Neither the Schurman Retail Group nor Health Canada has received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these products.
