Shoplifter Charged in Grey County - December 21, 2012

(GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Thursday, December 13, 2012, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a theft report from the Deals Surplus store located on the Sunset Strip, in the Township of Georgian Bluffs, after an empty box having contained an Airsoft Sig Sauer Sp2022 air gun was discovered.

The suspect, who was captured committing the theft of the air gun on the store's surveillance video, purchased other items before leaving the store. The incident occurred on Wednesday, December 12, 2012

Grey County OPP with the assistance of the Grey County OPP Crime Unit was able to identify the suspect.

Jeremiah DOHMS, 20, of Barrie, is charged with shoplifting - theft under $5000. The air-gun, valued at $79.99 was returned to the store.

He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on Thursday, February 28, 2013.
