House Fire in Meaford - January 02, 2013

(MEAFORD, ON) – On Monday, December 31, 2012, at approximately 4:21 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a house fire on Margaret Street, Meaford, in the Municipality of Meaford.

The Meaford Fire Department attended and extinguished the minor fire which was contained in the roof area of the single level sided residence.

The cause of the fire is believed to be electrical and does not appear to be suspicious.

There were no injuries reported.
