OPP Charge Impaired Driver - January 03, 2013

IMPAIRED DRIVER CHARGED FAILS TO PROVIDE BREATH SAMPLE
(MEAFORD, ON) On Sunday, December 30, 2012 at approximately 2:57 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a possible impaired driver operating a green Hyundai vehicle on Hwy. 6 & 10 in the Municipality of Meaford.

Police located the vehicle and determined that the driver had been drinking alcohol. The driver was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle and transported to the Chatsworth Detachment for breath tests. The driver refused to provide samples of his breath.

Sheldon Bruce ROUSE, 54, of Wiarton, was charged with the criminal offence of impaired operation of a motor vehicle and failing to provide a breath sample.

He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on Thursday, January 10, 2013.
