Web posted on January 03, 2013

Last evening members of the Guelph Police Service, Guelph Parole and students from Conestoga College circulated throughout the Sleeman Center during the Guelph Storm game collecting donations for Special Olympics.

The "OHL - Be a Fan Hockey Game" was held in support of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Ontario. This year the event raised $2,350. "The Guelph Police Service, Guelph Parole and students from Conestoga College would like to extend their sincere thanks to everyone who donated towards this amazing charity," commented S/Sgt Dave Pringle-GPS Torch Run Coordinator.
