On January 8, 2013, at 4:07pm, a collision occurred on Silvercreek Parkway North near Speedvale Avenue. Investigation revealed that a 2008 Ford was exiting a private drive and was struck by a southbound 2008 Chevrolet delivery van. The total damage to the vehicles is estimated at $6,000.00.

The driver of the Ford sustained a minor injury and was taken to Hospital.

The driver of the Ford, a 19 year old female from Guelph, was charged with "Fail to Yield from Driveway" under the Highway Traffic Act.

On January 8, 2013, at 7:50pm, a collision occurred at the intersection of Paisley Road and Elmira Road. Investigation revealed that a 2010 Ford SUV was travelling eastbound on Paisley Road while a 2006 Honda was travelling westbound on Paisley Road. The Ford attempted to turn northbound onto Elmira Road and was struck by the Honda. The total damage to the vehicles is estimated at $18,500.00.

The driver of the Honda received minimal injuries.

The driver of the SUV, a 62 year old male from Guelph, was charged with "Turn not in Safety" under the Highway Traffic Act.
