Guelph Police Reports - January 11, 2013

FOUR CAR COLLISION IN PARKING LOT
On January 10, 2013, at 10:23am, a 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass driven by a 90 year old Guelph man was entering the parking lot located at 100 Westmount Road.

This vehicle struck and destroyed the automated parking lot pay point. It then continued through the parking lot striking three parked vehicles before finally stopping. No injuries were reported.

DRIVE OVER 80MGS - ARREST
On January 11, 2013, at 12:30am, a traffic stop was conducted on College Avenue West. Police spoke with the female driver and a demand was made for a roadside breath sample. She failed this test and was arrested.

A 20 year old female from Kingsville was charged with drive over 80mgs and is scheduled to appear in court in January 2013.

DRIVE OVER 80MGS - ARREST
On January 11, 2013, at 1:40am, a traffic stop was conducted at Cambridge Street and Yorkshire Street. Police spoke with the male driver and a demand was made for a roadside breath sample. He failed this test and was arrested. Further investigation determined this man was also breaching a condition he has through an officer in charge undertaking.

A 26 year old male from Orangeville was charged with drive over 80mgs and breach undertaking. He will appear in bail court on January 11, 2013.
