OPP Charge Impaired river in Grey County

(MEAFORD, ON) – On Monday, January 14, 2013 at approximately 4:04 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a possible impaired driver operating a black 2002 Volkswagen Golf west bound on Hwy. 26 in the Town of Blue Mountains heading towards Meaford.
At 4:20 p.m. police stopped the suspect vehicle on Marshall Street in Meaford and found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. After failing the road side breath test, further breath tests were conducted at the Chatsworth OPP detachment.
Suzanne PURDY, 39, of Meaford, is charged with operating a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol. She is to appear in court in Owen Sound on Thursday, January 24, 2013.
