DRIVER CHARGED WITH OVER 80 MG
(MEAFORD, ON) – On Sunday, January 13, 2012 at approximately 1:14 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a motor vehicle on St. Vincent Street in the Municipality of Meaford as a result of a traffic violation.
The driver was found to have been drinking alcohol. After failing the road side breath test, further breath tests were conducted at the Meaford Detachment. The test results indicated that the driver had consumed more than twice the legal limit of alcohol.
Craig Alexander CORNFIELD, 25, of The Blue Mountains, was charged with over 80 milligrams. He was also charged with possession of marijuana under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on Thursday, February 28, 2013.

GREY COUNTY OPP CONDUCTING DEATH INVESTIGATION
(MEAFORD, ON) – Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit, under the direction of Detective Inspector David HILLMAN of the Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), is currently conducting a death investigation in the Municipality of Meaford.
On Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at approximately 1:00 p.m. police initiated the investigation and, as a result of information received, one suspect has been taken into custody.
The investigation is in the early stages. Further information may become available as the investigation continues.
