IMPAIRED DRIVER CAUGHT SPEEDING
(GREENOCK TWP, ON) – On January 12, 2013 at 7:25 pm, a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Highway 9 in Greenock Township saw a White Ford pickup travelling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle speed was displayed on radar at 121 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
The truck was stopped and the officer found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. 45 year old Timothy FITZPATRICK of Kincardine has been charged with Operate over 80 milligrams and Speeding. He is scheduled to appear in court on February 11, 2013 to answer to the charges.

IMPAIRED DRIVER FACING DAY IN COURT
(ARRAN-ELDERSLIE TWP, ON) – On January 11, 2013 at 9:58 pm, a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Bruce County Road 10 stopped a Silver Honda Civic. The driver was found to have been drinking alcohol.
21 year old Nathan COURTNEY of Arran-Elderslie Township was charged with Operate over 80 milligrams. He is scheduled to appear in court on February 11, 2013 to answer to the charge.

IMPAIRED DRIVER CAUGHT RACING
(ARRAN-ELDERSLIE TWP, ON) – On January 11, 2013 at 6:43 pm, a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Bruce County Road 19 in Arran-Elderslie Township observed a Black Kia Sephia moving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle speed was displayed on radar at 143 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. The vehicle was stopped and the officer found that the driver had been drinking alcohol.
27 year old Kimberley ADAMS of Owen Sound has been charged with Operate over 80 milligrams and Race a motor vehicle. She is scheduled to appear in court on March 4, 2013 to answer to the charges.

CHRISTMAS WREATH STOLEN
(WALKERTON, ON) On January 9, 2013 at 12:33 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a theft from a residence along Cayley Street in Walkerton. Sometime between January 5, 2013 and January 8, 2013, a large Christmas Wreath was taken from the front door of the home.
This is a home-made wreath with gold spray painted horse shoes and a red bow on it. The wreath has a great deal of sentimental value as it was made by a family member. Anyone with information on this theft is asked to call the South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.
