DRIVER CHARGED WITH CARELESS DRIVING
(GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) â€" On Saturday, January 19, 2012 at approximately 6:46 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a motor vehicle in the ditch on Grey Rd. 17 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs. The 2007 Saturn S12 had left the roadway, hitting a mail box, prior to entering the ditch. The driver was taken to Owen Sound Hospital with minor injuries and released.

Tanya Lee TREPANIER, 26, of Owen Sound was charged with Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act.

INTOXICATED MALE CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED AT R.I.D.E
(GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) â€" On Saturday, January 19, 2013 at approximately 9:16 p.m., members of the Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a R.I.D.E. spot check on the 8th Concession and Grey Rd. 13 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

Police stopped a 2001 Honda Civic and found the driver to be intoxicated. He was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. Breath tests conducted revealed his blood alcohol content level was over 80 milligrams.

Steven Matthew KENT, 28, of Eugenia, Grey Highlands, is charged with impaired driving and over 80 milligrams. He is also charged with driving while suspended under the Highway Traffic Act.

He is to appear in court in Owen Sound on Thursday, February 28, 2013.
