TRAFFIC LIGHT REMOVED BY TRANSPORT TRUCK
(WALKERTON, ON) - On February 11, 2013 at 12:01 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a transport truck striking a stop light at the intersection of Jackson Street and Yonge Street in Walkerton.

Officers arrived to find that a Black International transport truck was turning when it struck the traffic light. The traffic light was broken off by the impact and found lying on the sidewalk. The driver, 61 year old Eugene CURRY of Chatsworth, was charged with Improper turn.

COLLISION RESULTS IN CHARGES FOR SNOWMOBILE OPERATOR
(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) On Sunday, February 10, 2013 at approximately 3:00p.m. Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a collision involving a pickup truck and a snowmobile on Red Bay Rd., in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.

A 2005 Skidoo GSX was traveling south on the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC), trail north of the Red Bay Rd. At the trail intersection at Red Bay Rd the operator drove the snowmobile into the side of an east bound 2011 Dodge pickup truck. The female snowmobile operator was transported to Wiarton hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.

44-year-old Carrie QUIGLEY of Kingsville was charged with Careless Driving under the Motorized Snow Vehicle Act.

R.I.D.E. PROGRAM - DRIVER ISSUED THREE DAY SUSPENSION
(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) - On Saturday, February 9th, 2013, at approximately 3:33 p.m., Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting a R.I.D.E. program on Bryant St. in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula. A 2004 Subaru Forester driven by a 50-year-old Toronto man entered the R.I.D.E., an officer spoke with the driver of the Subaru and found he had been drinking.

The man completed a roadside test for alcohol and the result was a warn. He received an immediate 3 day driving license suspension and his vehicle was towed. He was also charged with a Highway Traffic Act offence.

SINGLE MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION RESULTS IN IMPAIRED DRIVING CHARGE
(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) - On Thursday, February 7, 2013 at approximately 6:54p.m., Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Hwy. 6 south of Meadowland Road in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.

The female driver was operating her motor vehicle, a 2004 Pontiac Montana van, southbound on Hwy. 6 in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula when she lost control of the vehicle and entered the west ditch. The vehicle sustained minor damage, and the lone occupant did not require medical attention.

Members of the OPP attended and found that the woman had been consuming alcohol.

Michelle MAGENNIS, 44, of the Town of South Bruce Peninsula, was arrested and charged with impaired driving, over 80 milligrams, and operating a motor vehicle not equipped with an ignition interlock installed. She is scheduled to appear in Owen Sound Court on Thursday, February 21st, 2013, to answer to the charges.
