Guelph Police Report - February 13, 2013

On February 12, 2013, at 3:30p.m., Guelph Police went to the intersection of Willow Road and Applewood Crescent to investigate the report of a child being struck. Investigation alleges that a group of children were walking home from School when two young males began pushing and shoving as they approached the intersection. A twelve year-old Guelph boy was subsequently pushed into the path of a motor vehicle that was travelling on Applewood Crescent and knocked to the ground.

The female driver checked on the child and left the scene without leaving any information. The involved vehicle is described as a dark coloured van. Investigators would like to speak to the driver. The child sustained minimal injuries to his right ankle.
