POLICE INVESTIGATING BREAK, ENTER and THEFT
(WALKERTON, ON) - On February 19, 2013 at 9:16 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break in at the former Cartwright Shoe Store in the 200 block of Durham Street East in Walkerton.

Sometime between 1:00 pm on February 16, 2013 and 10:00 am on February 17, 2013, the building was entered through a back door and a quantity of tools was taken. The list of stolen property includes a Yellow Dewalt Mitre Saw, a Blue Bosh Table Saw and an Orange Stihl Vacuum. The value of the stolen property is estimated to be more than $2,100.

TRAFFIC STOP RESULTS IN IMPAIRED CHARGES FOR DRIVER
(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) - On Sunday, February 17, 2013 in the early morning hours, Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting vehicle patrol on County Road 8 west of Hepworth, Town of South Bruce Peninsula., when they observed a Black Jeep driving erratically and initiated a traffic stop.

The male driver had been drinking. He failed a roadside test, and subsequent intoxilyzer results indicated his blood alcohol concentration was over two times the legal limit. Twenty-six year old Glenn JOHNSTON of Southampton was arrested and charged for Over 80. He will appear in Owen Sound Court on March 28, 2013 to answer to the charge.

OFFICERS ARREST IMPAIRED FEMALE
(SAUGEEN FIRST NATION, ON) - On Sunday, February 16, 2013, in the early morning hours, Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers observed a White Pontiac Montana van parked along the roadside with its engine running. As officers spoke to the female driver signs of alcohol impairment became very obvious.

Thirty-eight year old Jennifer ROOTE of Saugeen First Nation was arrested and charged for impaired driving and over 80, as well as several Provincial Offences. Intoxilyzer test results indicated a blood alcohol level over three times the legal limit. She is to appear in Walkerton Court on March 18, 2013 to answer to the charges.
