OPEN LIQUOR DISCOVERED AT R.I.D.E. CHECK

(KINCARDINE, ON) - On March 10, 2013 at 4:20 pm, members of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting R.I.D.E. on Durham Street in Kincardine when a White Ford Focus stopped. Officers found open alcohol in the vehicle. A 17 year old male was charged with having Open liquor in other than residence, licenced premise or private place.

POLICE INVESTIGATING DAYTIME BREAK IN

(CARRICK TWP, ON) - On March 9, 2013 at 6:49 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break in at a residence in the 400 block of Bruce County Road 3 in Carrick Township. Sometime between 1:30 pm on March 9, 2013 and 5:00 pm on March 9, 2013 the residence was forcibly entered through a garage door. The list of stolen property includes:

* Quantity of American and Canadian coins

* Gold necklace and bracelet set

* Diamond and emerald ear rings

* Gold neck chain

* Gold ankle bracelet

* Heavy silver neck chain

* 2 Gold rings

The value of the stolen property is estimated to be more than $5,000.
