This recall involves Crabtree & Evelyn brand reed diffusers in various fragrances. There are a total of 7 products covered by the recall.

The recalled products pose a very high level of toxicity though inhalation and are consequently prohibited by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001. Exposure through inhalation of the affected products may cause serious injury.

Neither Health Canada nor Crabtree & Evelyn, Ltd. has received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of the recalled diffusers.

the affected reed diffusers were manufactured in the United States by Crabtree & Evelyn, Ltd., Woodstock, Connecticut. The recalled reed diffusers were sold from January 2012 to December 2012 affecting approximately 4000 units of the recalled reed diffusers were sold.
