GPL Presents City Wide Family Literacy Day Celebrations

Guelph, ON The Guelph Public Library is proud to host a city-wide community celebration for Family Literacy Day 2014. "Read Around the World" will be held at the Main Library (100 Norfolk Street), Westminster Square Branch (100-31 Farley Drive) and the East Side Branch (1 Starwood Drive) on Saturday, January 25th. Each location will hold a variety of activities to encourage families to enjoy 15 minutes of literacy fun!

Travel the world with the participating community organizations including the Local Immigration Partnership, Ontario Early Years Program, St. George's Centre for ESL, Conestoga College, Immigrant Services Guelph-Wellington, Action Read, and the GPL.

From learning how to make play dough to discovering the world of comics and drumming, to learning Hindi or listening to Robert Munsch books read in other languages, you are never too old to share your love of literacy. Join the celebrations at this fun city-wide literacy event and "Read around the World!"
