OPP Charge Guelph Cyclist on Highway 6

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) On January 16, 2014, at approximately 4:50 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were patrolling Highway 6, Guelph-Eramosa Township. Officers spoke with a male cyclist and during the investigation, it was discovered that he was disobeying a court ordered curfew. During the arrest, break in instruments were found, and also suspected crystal meth.

Robert GARCEAU-GOUDREAULT age 25 of Guelph has been charged with Breach of Recognizance, and Possession of Break In Instruments contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is also charged with Possession of Methamphetamines (crystal meth) contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 16, 2014 for a bail hearing.
