Suspicious Female

On Tuesday, January 21, 2014, Guelph Police Service were contacted by a Sunnylea Crescent resident regarding a female that came to their front door and rang the bell on Monday, January 20th, 2014 between 11:30 p.m. & 11:45 p.m.

The female identified herself verbally as "Katrina" and claimed to live on Sunnylea Crescent, Guelph. She requested money ($65.00) to purchase medication for her sick daughter and promised to return the money on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 10 a.m.

The female failed to return as promised.

She is described as female, white, 5'4" to 6' tall, shoulder length blonde-brown hair, wearing a beige 3⁄4 length coat and greyish/beige gloves.

The female was last seen walking down the street Sunnylea Crescent and getting into a dark coloured vehicle.

Female Arrested for Impaired Driving

On Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 2:41 a.m., Guelph Police stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Arthur Street and Elizabeth Street. Through investigation grounds were formed that the female was impaired and she was placed under arrest.

Rebbecah CLELLAND, 27 years of Guelph, was charged with impaired driving and drive over 80mg. She will appear in court on February 4, 2014.

Break and Enter

On January 20, 2014, the Guelph Police attended to a Fife Road business to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered through a basement area between January 16 at 4:15 p.m. and January 20 at 8:00 a.m. The theft of tools is reported.
