Guelph Public Library Teen Writing and Art Contest

The Guelph Public Library's "It's ALL Write: Teen Short Story Contest" starts March 1st and runs until 5:00 pm on Saturday, April 12th. Teens in grades 7 through 12 are encouraged to write a short story on any topic in 1,500 words or less and send it to teens@library.guelph.on.ca.

Why not try writing a story which embraces the GPL's annual theme: "GPL your other best friend"? Winners will receive a gift certificate to The Bookshelf in three categories: Grades 7 & 8, Grades 9 & 10 and Grades 11 &12 and will also have their work turned into a book to be sold in May.

Put your artistic talents to good use and design a book cover for our "It's ALL Write: Teen Short Story Contest." The sky's the limitPaint, draw, photography, digital arts you decide!

The winning cover will be featured on the GPL's "It's ALL Write" book to be released in May. Win a fabulous prize package from Wyndham Art. Submit your entry to teens@library.guelph.on.ca or in person to any library branch before 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 12th.
