Break and enter arrest

On March 7, 2014 at 8:06 a.m., the Guelph Police went to the Victoria Road Recreation Centre to investigate a break and enter. It is alleged that on March 6, 2014 at 10:30 p.m., a male gained entry into an office at the Victor Davis Recreation Center by prying the door open. While inside, the male took a quantity of cell phones and other items.

Guelph Police investigation led to the arrest of the male on March 7, 2014. Subsequent to the arrest a search warrant was executed on his residence. Police were unable to locate any items taken during the break and enter into the Recreation Center, but did find a small quantity of narcotics and other stolen property.

Brandon GRENIER, 24 years of Guelph has been charged with break and enter and commit, mischief under $5,000, theft under $5,000, four counts of possession of property obtained by crime and two counts of possession of a controlled substance (CDSA). He will appear in court on March 10, 2014.

Break and enter

On March 7, 2014 at 1:57 p.m., the Guelph Police went to a Stevenson Street South residence to investigate a break and enter. The entry occurred sometime over the previous twenty four hours. The culprit(s) entered by prying a side door. Police found the home which is vacant and for sale, to have a basement flooded with water. It is unknown at this time if a theft occurred.

Impaired driver arrested

On March 9, 2014 at 6:41 p.m., the Guelph Police conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle on Delhi Street after reports that it had been driving erratically and struck a parked vehicle. The male driver was spoken to and arrested for impaired driving.

Tomasz KURZYDLOWSKI, 34 years of Kitchener has been charged with impaired driving by drug. He will appear in court on April 22, 2014.

Break and enter

On March 9, 2014 at 3:40 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a Wagoners Trail residence to investigate the report of a break and enter in progress. The caller advised that his barking dog alerted him to two males inside a neighbours backyard shed. The males left prior to police arrival. No theft appears to have occurred.
