Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that drawstrings on children's upper outerwear can become caught on playground equipment, fences or other objects and result in strangulation, or in the case of a vehicle, the child being dragged.

Neither Groupe Sarah Inc./Oxygen nor Health Canada has received reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these products. It is recommended that consumers should immediately remove the drawstring to eliminate the hazard.

The recalled products were sold from June 2011 to January 2014. Approximately 8,000 of the recalled products were sold in CLEMENT stores and at L'AUBAINERIE. The product was manufactured in China and distributed through Groupe SarahInc., Montreal, Quebec.
