OPP Arrest Man In A Sexual Assault Investigation

OPP Update on April 12, 2014 - (CHATSWORTH, ON) - The Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit have arrested the leader of the Church of Jesus Christ Restored wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant.

Investigators were alerted late last night by Hamilton Police that 55-year-old Frederick Madison King may be at a hotel in the City of Hamilton. He was taken into custody by members of the Grey County OPP without incident.

The accused faces the following charges:
1 x Sexual Exploitation
1 x Sexual Interference
3 x Sexual Assault
3 x Assault Cause Bodily Harm
5 x Uttering Death Threats
2 x Assault With a Weapon
10 x Assault

He is scheduled to appear in Owen Sound Court on Monday, April 14 to answer to the charges. The OPP would like to thank the media, public and other agencies involved in helping to locate the accused.

(CHATSWORTH, ON) The Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit continues to search for the leader of the Church of Jesus Christ Restored in the Township of Chatsworth Ontario, wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant.

The accused disappeared just after the investigation into a number of physical and sexual assault allegations were brought forward in 2012 by members of the church.

Police are appealing to the public to help locate 55-year-old Frederick Madison KING from the Township of Chatsworth charged with; Sexual Exploitation, Sexual Interference, Sexual Assault, Assault Cause Bodily Harm, Uttering Death Threats, Assault With A Weapon and Assault.

The suspect is described as male, white, 178 cm, heavy build, brown hair. If located contact the OPP immediately at 1-888-310-1122 or your nearest police service. He has connections in the Township of Chatsworth and Oakville Ontario.
