Theft from cars

Over the weekend the Guelph Police received seven reports from Guelph residents reporting thefts from their cars. The locations were Regent Street, Queensdale Crescent, Winston Crescent, Hanlon Creek Boulevard, Grinyer Drive and two on Hill Trail.

This crime is easily avoided by locking your cars and by keeping valuables out of sight or removed from your vehicle. If you do fall victim to this crime, please report using the Guelph Police CopLogic online reporting system. You can find this on the Guelph Police website under Online Reporting.

Break and enter

On June 15, 2014, at 5:41 p.m., the Guelph Police went to a Huron Street residence to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) had entered through a side door sometime over the previous four hours. It is unknown at this time if a theft occurred.

Break and enter

On June 15, 2014, at 4:17 p.m., the Guelph Police went to a Chesterton Lane residence to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered the garage sometime over the previous few days. The theft of a bicycle and Samsung Note is reported.

On June 14, 2014, at 1:37 a.m., the Guelph Police went to an Arrow Road business to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered by breaking a window. No theft is reported. On June 15, 2014 at 8:25 p.m., the Guelph Police returned to this same business. A window was again the point of entry but no theft is reported.
