OPP Charge Driver After Serious Collision - July 22, 2014

(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) - The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is continuing to investigate the two vehicle head-on collision that occurred on Perth Road 113 (Embro Road), Sunday evening July 20, 2014.

The crash involved a south bound Pontiac Grand Am with three Municipality of West Perth residents. This vehicle crossed over into the north bound lane and collided head-on with a north bound full sized Chevrolet van carrying a Municipality of West Perth family of seven.

The driver of the south bound Pontiac Grand Am, Tammy-Lynn DINGMAN (42) of the Municipality of West Perth, faces the following Criminal Code of Canada offences; "breath sample: not provided upon demand", "impaired driving causing bodily harm", and "dangerous operation causing bodily harm". She is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on September 08, 2014 to answer to these charges. In addition she was issued a 90 day driver's licence suspension.
