Recall - Sears Canada Recalls Nevada Moccasins

This recall involves Nevada moccasins for infants and children in black, yellow, and tan colours. The moccasins can be identified by the item number and sizes below.

The recalled products can be identified by the following:

Testing by Sears Canada Inc. has indicated that the moccasins contain a high concentration of lead.

Neither Health Canada nor Sears Canada Inc. has received reports of incidents or injuries related to this footwear.

The moccasins were sold from January 1, 2014 to July 22, 2014 exclusively at Sears. Approximately 9,362 units of the recalled moccasins were sold in Canada.

The affected product was manufactured in China by Top Moda, HONG KONG and sold through retailer Sears Canada Inc., Toronto, Ontario.

Consumers are advised to not let their children wear the recalled moccasins and should immediately take the affected product away from them.

The recalled moccasins can be returned to the nearest Sears Department store for a full refund if accompanied by a sales receipt or Sears Card statement, or for the lowest selling price without a receipt.
