Vehicle Collides With Two Houses

On Friday, August 1, 2014 at 1:00 a.m., Guelph Police received a report that a car had struck a deck in the backyard of a residence on Summit Ridge Drive.

Investigation revealed that the vehicle had struck two houses before entering the backyard. Substantial damage is reported. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

Bre-Anne HARRINGTON, 28 years of Guelph, was charged with impaired and over 80. She will appear in court on August 12, 2014.


Single Vehicle Fail To Remain Collision Causes Major Damage

On Thursday, July 31, 2014 at approximately 8:50 p.m. a vehicle struck the traffic signal pole on the southwest corner of Elmira Road North and Massey Road destroying the traffic light pole and its concrete base.

Investigation has determined that the involved vehicle was a red Pontiac Montana van. It will have extensive damage to the front. The responsible vehicle left the scene prior to Police arrival.

Sudden death

In the early morning hours of August 2nd, 2014, the Guelph Police Service officers responded to a call for service at a residence west of downtown Guelph. Upon arrival, police discovered a 56 year old woman deceased within the residence. Police do not believe the circumstances of her passing are in any way criminal.
