Guelph, Ont., December 2015 - The City of Guelph's 2016 Curbside Waste Collection Guide is now available for residents to pick up at City facilities. The Guide includes waste collection guidelines, sorting lists, special programs, and the annual waste collection calendar.

Guides will not be delivered to homes this year so residents are encouraged to pick-up a copy from one of the following facilities:

  1. City Hall, 1 Carden Street
  2. Evergreen Seniors Community Centre, 683 Woolwich Street
  3. Guelph Public Library, visit guelphpl.ca for branch information
  4. Victoria Road Recreation Centre, 151 Victoria Road North
  5. Waste Resource Innovation Centre, 110 Dunlop Drive, Administration Building
  6. West End Community Centre, 21 Imperial Road South

The Guide is also available online at guelph.ca/waste where residents can print off a one-page Week A or Week B waste collection calendar.

Other new online features include the City's waste sorting tool, Sort Right, and a waste collection lookup tool. Sort Right allows residents to type in their waste item to find out if it belongs in the blue, green, or grey cart.

Residents can also determine their collection day and whether their household follows the Week A or Week B schedule by entering their street address into the online waste collection lookup tool. To learn more visit guelph.ca/waste.
