Recall - Good Start 2 Liquid Infant Formula

Ottawa, February 14, 2016 - Nestl Canada Inc. is recalling specific lots of Nestl brand Good Start 2 Concentrated Liquid Infant Formula from the marketplace due to potentially reduced bioavailability of nutrients. Consumers should not use or consume the recalled product described below.

Check to see if you have the recalled product in your home. Recalled products should be thrown out and consumers should call Nestl Consumer Services for reimbursement at the phone number below.

This recall was triggered by consumer complaints. There have been reported illnesses; however they have not been confirmed to be caused by consumption of the affected product.

Consumption of the affected product could lead to lower intake of some nutrients, due to reduced bioavailability.

The CFIA is verifying that industry is removing recalled product from the marketplace.
