THEFT FROM VENDING MACHINE, ST MARYS

(ST MARYS, ON) - On Thursday March 30, 2017 Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of a theft from a vending machine at Little Falls Car and Pet Wash located on Queen Street West in the Town of St Marys.

Through investigation it was determined that sometime during the previous night suspect(s) had damaged the front of a vending machine at the business and stolen approximately $110.00 worth of confectionary products.

The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122 or (519) 393-6123. THEFT OF TRACTOR, PERTH EAST

(PERTH EAST, ON) - Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating the recent theft of a tractor from a rural property on Perth Line 55 in the Township of Perth East.

Police believe the theft took place sometime overnight between 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday April 4, 2017 and Wednesday April 5, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. The suspect(s) entered an unlocked drive shed and removed the tractor and drove it south bound through a field to Perth Line 52.

The stolen machine is described as a red and black, 2015 Mahindra Max, 28 horsepower tractor with loader attachment. This machine was equipped Turf Saver tires and is valued at $24,000.

TRAFFIC STOP YIELDS DRUG CHARGES

(NORTH PERTH, ON) - On Wednesday April 5, 2017 just before 3:00 a.m. Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a black Chevrolet car on Perth Line 81 in the Municipality of North Perth.

The officers discovered suspected Cannabis Marijuana and Methamphetamine in the vehicle. The driver was arrested and released at the scene.

As a result, 52-year-old Teresa ONEILL from Central Huron has been charged with possession of Methamphetamine and possession of Cannabis Marijuana under 30 grams, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. She is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in North Perth on May 31, 2017.

POLICE SEEKING ASSISTANCE IN IDENTIFYING SUSPECT MOTOR VEHICLE INVOLVED IN THEFT OF PICK UP

(PERTH EAST, ON) - On Monday April 3, 2017 Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of the theft of a truck from a rural residence on Perth Line 44 in the Township of Perth East.

Investigation revealed that two suspects had driven on to the property in a white pickup truck shortly before 2:00 a.m. on April 3, 2017. One of the suspects then stole an unlocked grey coloured Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck that had been parked at the residence. The keys for this truck had been inside the motor vehicle. Both trucks then left the residence together in an unknown direction.

Police are continuing to investigate this incident and are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the vehicle that the suspects initially arrived in. This pick-up has a distinct red symbol on the passenger side door.
