OPP Investigate Damage to Park - May 17, 2017

(WEST PERTH, ON) - The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has received two recent reports of damage at the Morenz Park area which is located near the intersection of Huron Road and Blanchard Street in the Municipality of West Perth.

During the first incident reported to OPP on May 10, 2017, a statue of a crane knocked off its pedestal and was broken. During the second incident reported on May 16, 2017 damage was done to a wooden gazebo and a concrete birdbath. The birdbath was broken and thrown on the river bank and railing spindles in the gazebo smashed.
