DRIVER IN MEDICAL DISTRESS STRIKES SENIOR

(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) - On Saturday July 22, 2017 at approximately 2:00 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious collision involving a person being struck by a motor vehicle on Main Street, Erin. Initial reports indicated that a north bound Ford Focus had drifted in its lane and struck an 80 year old man standing next to a parked car before driving from the scene.

OPP as well as Town of Erin Fire & Emergency Services and Guelph-Wellington Paramedics Services attended and treated one male patient with minor injuries.

OPP located the driver who was in medical distress and transported by EMS to local hospital. The collision was deemed to be the result of the driver's medical situation and not driver error.

The road was closed briefly.

STOLEN TRUCK

(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON ON) - On July 26, 2017 at approximately 3:35 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a truck stolen from a residence on Jones Baseline, Township of Centre Wellington.

The owner heard people on his property and saw two, possibly three unknown males in the process of stealing two trucks. The homeowner interrupted their attempts and confronted them. The males jumped into one of the trucks and quickly fled the scene heading northbound on Jones Baseline.

The stolen vehicle is described as a white 2007 Dodge 2500 mega cab pick-up truck. The vehicle has the decals "Geo-Solar Heat Specialists" and phone number "519-843-7899" on the sides of the truck box and tail gate. The truck box contained scrap metal and a water heater. The vehicle has pre-existing damage to the tail gate and front bumper.

The OPP are asking anyone who may have information regarding this occurrence to contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. GRAB-AND-DASH TURNS INTO A GRAB-AND-CRASH; WOMAN IDENTIFIED IN THEFT, WARRANT ISSUED

(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) - On May 17, 2017 Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) asked the public to help identify a female involved in a theft. Video was released showing the woman falling while she attempted to steal over $600 in electronics from a Walmart on Highway 6 in Fergus.

The investigation has resulted in the OPP issuing a warrant for the arrest of 44-year-old Stacey L. FULFORD of Waterloo Region. She is charged with Uttering Threats and two counts of Theft Under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code.

OPP continue to investigate the identity of her accomplices, two men and three women described below:

Male 1 - white, 30 to 40-years-old with short dark hair wearing dark sunglasses and a dark short sleeve shirt with blue jeans

Male 2 - white, 30 to 40-years-old wearing a red/white ball cap, light colored sweater and khaki pants

Female 1 - white, 20 to 30-years-old wearing all black and is prone to concealing her face

Female 2 - white, 20 to 30-years-old with long dark hair wearing a white shirt and black pants

Female 3 - white, 20 to 30-years-old with long blond hair wearing a black sweater and black pants
