Shot fired in disturbance

Posted on Thursday August 31, 2017 Subscribe via RSS Subscribe via e-mail On August 31st, 2017 at approximately 12:30am, two groups of adult males were involved in a physical altercation in the parking lot located at 261 Woodlawn Road West in Guelph.

As one group was leaving the area in their vehicle, an unknown male from the second group discharged one round from a firearm striking the vehicle occupied by the other group.

The male who discharged the firearm left the scene accompanied by a second male in a grey or silver Jeep Cherokee, last seen west bound on Woodlawn Rd. W.

The male suspect who discharged the firearm is described as a black male, 5'11" to 6' tall with a short afro and had a tattoo of a crown on his throat. He was wearing dark clothing at the time.

He was accompanied by a second male, black, tall wearing grey hoody with the hood up.

No injuries were suffered as a result of this incident.

Assistance to locate dog owners

On August 30, 2017 at approximately 5:00pm, two females were walking their three dogs off leash at Rickson Ridge School in Guelph. There were two Swiss mountain dogs that were friendly, however, the third dog was a King Sheppard that attacked a three month old Bernese mountain dog and their owner.

Prior to being able to get the owners information, the two females left with three dogs.

First female is described as female, white in her 70's short grey hair, blue eyes, heavier build wearing a black arm/wrist splint. The second female is described as white, late 20's early 30's, long blond hair, average build.

They are believed to live in the area of the school.
